In late 2024 I started studying towards a Diploma of Art & Creativity at The Learning Connexion, an art school based in Taita – Lower Hutt, Wellington. As I neared the end of my diploma, the school asked me to do an interview with them about my experience as a distance student. I also talk about my inspiration, my process, and what it’s like building an art career in rural Aotearoa.
