This is part of my ‘Wilted’ collection, an ongoing project where I photograph flowers beyond their prime but – to my eyes – so much more interesting & beautiful. I love all the intricate details in the creases and shadows. This one has a sense of flow, so I have called it “The Dancer”. It reminds me so much of a ballerina captured in movement.
Printed in New Zealand on quality card with a matte finish.
