Kia ora, I’m Zenobia Southcombe.
I’m an artist & writer living in Te Waipounamu, New Zealand’s beautiful South Island.
I work mainly in photography, but I also love painting and drawing. I feel a deep connection to te taiao, our natural world, so many of my works are inspired by nature – whether that be the rugged Otago coast, the friendly local pīwakawaka, or the little moths in my garden.
Each work is an invitation to look at the world through a lens of wonder and curiosity; to see the beauty of our everyday lives and the precious world in which we are living.
I also love capturing sports and events, with recent experience in equestrian shows, and a parkrun volunteer photographer.
